Lynne Jewett first went to Guatemala in 1989 as an AIM worker to assist T. Wynn Drost. In 1992 she went with the Drost family to Mexico. After seven years of working in the national office and Bible school there, she returned to her “first love,” Guatemala. She became an appointed intermediate missionary in 1996 and has been working in the Bible school and Sunday school ever since. She is now the administrator for the Institute of Pentecostal Ministries in Guatemala and serves as the national Sunday school director. In 2002, she was appointed as the children’s evangelism and crusade coordinator for the Central American/Caribbean Region. Her goal is to establish Sunday schools in all of the churches throughout the region. In 2003 she received her career missionary appointment after serving on the field for 14 years. She is thrilled to be working with the Brad Thompsons, her long time friends and great missionaries.
