CSI has been working in Texas, Florida and the Caribbean after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma hit. With the help of our churches in Indiana, Missouri, Illinois and Tennessee, as well as others, have been able to send at least fifteen fifty-three foot trailers loaded with supplies to those affected by these devastating storms and have three more ready to depart this week. One team of CSI volunteers went to South Texas while another team went to Texas. A CSI assessment team was in Puerto Rico, St. John and St. Thomas passing out supplies and generators. We are currently working on getting many more generators to the Caribbean islands as some will be without electricity for months to come.

With the earthquake that hit Mexico we have reports of several churches and homes that have received damage. No reports of loss of life or serious injury and for this we are thankful.

At this time there is an estimated $40,000 of structural damage to our churches in Mexico City. Also the initial costs of water, food, clothing for those who have lost so much.  We are looking at astronomical expenses, however, anything you can do to help would be so appreciated.

Hurricane Maria has devastated Puerto Rico and as soon as we are able to get there we will be sending supplies and possibly teams there to help. Several of the smaller islands have been impacted hard and the need for food and other items such as clothing, kitchen utensils and furniture is great.

Thank you for giving as we endeavor to assist those in need at this time.
