In 1994, the Coolbaughs left secular employment to minister in Thailand. After learning the difficult Thai language and with Sister Coolbaugh supporting through prayer, fasting, and homemaking, Brother Coolbaugh opened a full-time Bible school in 1999 in a local church building. A permanent school facility was then designed and built in 2003. For the first three school years, Brother Coolbaugh was the only instructor, but now all of the school administration and teaching staff are those who graduated under his teaching.
To date, more than 200 have studied at the school, with 83 staying the full two years to graduation. These young graduates are transforming the outreach, worship, and lifestyle of the church throughout Thailand with their enthusiasm, strong spiritual standards, and excellent knowledge of the Word of God. Graduates have become pastors of churches, Bible school staff, and some hold important positions in the organization. The focus during the coming years will be on evangelizing unreached areas of Thailand through the efforts of the Bible school and its staff and graduates.
