Daniel and Tabitha DeTemple have been involved in ministry in various capacities for most of their lives, serving faithfully in teaching, leadership, and missions. Their ministry experience includes teaching Bible studies, Youth Ministry, Sunday school, church planting, evangelism, and leading house churches. Their passion is centered on discipleship, leadership development, and establishing strong, Spirit-led churches rooted in biblical truth.
Daniel first served in the Republic of Georgia from 2012–2013 through the Associates in Missions program and returned in 2015 with his family for an additional eight-month term. In March 2016, the DeTemples were appointed as Intermediate Missionaries and began a four-year term serving in Georgia. During this term, they were also appointed to minister in the nation of Armenia. In May 2022, their appointment was upgraded to Career Missionaries.
With a clear calling to the Caucasus region, the DeTemples carry a vision to plant, grow, and strengthen multiple churches in the capital cities of Tbilisi, Georgia, and Yerevan, Armenia, as well as in other cities and towns across both nations. They have established Bible schools in both nations, equipping believers for ministry and leadership, with several students already graduating in the Republic of Georgia. Their ongoing mission is to raise up national leaders, train pastors, and work alongside existing churches that minister in the native languages of each nation, while they themselves are intentionally attempting to learn and grow in the local languages in order to better serve, communicate, and build lasting relationships. It is their desire to see sustainable, multiplying churches established across Georgia and Armenia as God allows, while building strong partnerships with local pastors and believers to further the work of the gospel for generations to come.
