Ey Ja Kim began her missions journey as an Associate In Missions to South Korea beginning in 1985, and received Career Missionary appointment in 1991. She has started three new churches and assisted with starting two churches, and has trained over twenty-two young men and women to be ministers of the gospel. Those ministers are now pastoring churches or serving as assistant pastors. Three of those students have started new churches.
Sister Kim has served as the interpreter for all of South Korea’s camp meetings, seminars, and general conferences. She has also won the entire seventeen members of her family in Korea to the Lord. She conducts the pastors’ and wives’ seminars to unite the Korean brethren. She is a General Board member of the UPCK, a member of the Board of Trustees, and President of the Bible school. She also works with the Filipino UPC in Seoul and preaches for them once a month. A new Filipino church is also being started in the city of Hwasun. Her future goal is to strengthen the Bible school so that they will have many, many students working for the Lord in Korea.
