When appointed as Career Missionaries in 1976, John and Anne Nowacki were European immigrants living in Canada. Arriving in France in October 1977, they settled in Melun, on the outskirts of Paris. Their initial congregation of four has now grown to over 400. John serves as president of the UPC of France. He and Anne also oversee the translation of French literature and direct the Bible school.
