Zachary and Jennifer Sportsman have been fully appointed missionaries to the continent of Africa since 2015. They have worked extensively in both the West and East Africa subregions, where they have been involved in the National Youth Ministry, Bible School teaching and administration, church planting, and the development of the next generation of Apostolic leaders. They currently serve as the Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church of Rwanda. They are also the senior pastor of the headquarters church and lead a ministry team of spirit-empowered disciples who seek to restore and rebuild the apostolic church of the New Testament in the twenty-first century and beyond by doctrine, lifestyle, leadership, and ministry.
Upon their return to the field, they will continue their church-planting work, new-believer and leadership development efforts, and seek to expand the national church beyond the capital city of Kigali through evangelistic efforts, discipleship programs, and interdenominational pastors’ training and development seminars. They are believing Jesus for an Apostolic reformation of the church and its leaders throughout Rwanda and beyond.
